I'm also going with Jetta, keyfob looks like the one sitting on my desk but mine has 3 buttons. Does the sedan have a trunk release on the fob?

Definitely looks Volkswagen, though VW fobs usually have a VW logo on the reverse. Looks like the fobs from the Mk. IV and Mk. V era.
